Jean-Michel Cousteau will open a dive center on the privately owned resort island Petit St. Vincent in the southern Grenadines by the end of the year. An on-staff naturalist/marine biologist will offer guided underwater tours and hikes around the island to educate guests about the area’s marine and terrestrial ecosystems. The dive center will operate independently of the resort but will share some facilities, including the existing dock and boathouse. Cousteau is the son of the late marine conservationist Jacques-Yves Cousteau.
