The lowdown: Anyone from a toddler to a grandma can get lost in this ultimate girly-girl wonderland, where it's impossible not to find your inner child.

The 'hood: Open for six years, Brenda Weninger's charming shop is located in a quiet corridor behind Akashi in Coconut Grove, just a couple blocks down from Johnny Rocket's. Metered parking is available on the street, but you're probably better off paying to park in the CocoWalk garage.

The vibe: Perfect for playtime. The boutique lures you in with bright colors and alluring scents from its Trapp candles. The tiny space is filled with playful items such as pink boas and tutus dangling from the ceiling, glittered leggings, candles and costume jewelry including drop necklaces, oversize rings and beaded earrings lining the far walls.

Highlights: On one side of the store is a section for little girls, featuring rows of ruffled dresses and an array of onesies including a few that read ``My Dad Rocks.''

An entire wall is covered with ribbon-adorned brown paper lunch sacks referred to as the ''$5 grab bags.'' Inside, instead of a PB&J, is a special (and secret) gift from the shop. Weninger adds her own touch by putting vibrant ribbons or other details on the girly pieces sold in her store. Prices range between $36-$48, and include complimentary gift-wrap.

Owner says: ''I've lived in the Grove for 15 years and could never afford to shop anywhere,'' Weninger says. ``I wanted to bring affordable luxury to the area.''

Customer says: ''I love wandering into Brenda's Boutique. It's really a gem in Coconut Grove,'' says Allison Robins. ``She has all sorts of knick-knacks and jewelry -- you could literally get lost in there for hours.''

The deal: Mention this story and receive 10 percent off any item in the store.
