Miami-Dade Public Schools is sponsoring a daylong symposium on healthcare, to be held Tuesday in the Peacock Education Center in the John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall, 1300 Biscayne Blvd.

With registration starting at 9:30 a.m., there will be panels led by physicians, hospital staffers and employers. The keynote will be given by Pedro José ``Joe'' Greer.

Those interested in attending are asked to call 305-995-4638 before Tuesday.
