If you follow FDA guidelines to the letter, that might appear to be true, but in practical terms it’s not. The reason that many people hear this is because the original studies had patients aged 65 or younger, so the FDA gave approval up to that age. Treating older patients is done routinely worldwide. Some of my happiest patients are older than 65 and can look better without surgery.
