Deconstruction | Raul Rodriguez
BY KATHRYN WEXLER

RAUL RODRIGUEZ, 30, is the owner of an event production company. The Cuban American was born and raised in Miami.
``If you break down this outfit, there's nothing special about it. It's a black jacket and white shirt and khakis. But it's in the details and the fit.
``We deal with high-end luxury clients. To do their events, I have to convey what they're about.
``Back in my earlier days in Miami, I was more experimental. More Jean-Paul Gautier, Versace. The city wasn't so structured and commercialized and packaged and bottled. You could wear whatever you wanted and it would be celebrated, not scrutinized. Now you get shunned if you dare to be a little bit creative.
``There isn't a single crazy print in my closet. Now that I've become more professional and focused, everything reflects that.''
