The lowdown: Hair color and styling experts Joel Warren and Edward Tricomi have chosen the Fontainebleau as their New York City salon's newest outpost. Now fans of the duo -- who have worked together for 20 years -- don't have to hop a jet to experience Warren Tricomi's high-end services. While the salon's focus is clearly hair, it also does manicures, pedicures and waxing.

The 'hood: The Fontainebleau is across from Miami Beach's own ``Millionaire's Row.'' Valet parking is free with validation and metered parking is also available along Collins Avenue. Make sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before your appointment so you can snag a good spot and de-stress in the salon's quiet waiting room before your treatment.

The vibe: Polished luxe. Contrasting whites and deep wooden accents show off the salon's selection of Warren Tricomi products. You'll be treated like an honored guest while you obtain your hair consultation and are offered a drink of tea, coffee or ice-cold water.

The highlights: Treat yourself to a signature wash and blow out ($48 to $65), or get a cut ($45 to $75). You can have a stylist twist and knot your hair into your preferred up-do for a night out with the salon's ``fantasy styling service'' ($70 to $90). Need new color? Warren Tricomi's touch-up or single-process color promises to leave your hair shiny and new ($65 to $85).

The sweet deal: Get a free manicure at the Fontainebleau's Lapis Spa (a $36 value) with the purchase of $75 or more in hair or nail services at Warren Tricomi when you mention this story through Aug. 20.
