KIDDING AROUND

Tahitian print making at the MOCA

Kids and teens can learn about contemporary art while learning to express themselves as part of an educational enrichment program presented by The Museum of Contemporary Art. The program begins this weekend with Tahitian Print Making Inspired by Paul Gaugin. Taught by a professional art teacher, each class features a hands-on project -- parents can participate as well.

These programs are geared toward children 6-12 and will be held 2-4 p.m. on the first Saturday of every month, September through May. Cost is $12 per class ($2 discount for each child in the same household); $10 for museum members and city of North Miami residents and employees. Discounts for four-class series. For more information and to register, call MOCA's Education Department at 305-893-6211, ext. 25.
