Health pros from the FDA to the Mayo Clinic tout fiber for lowering blood sugar and cholesterol, boosting metabolism and cardiovascular health and reducing cancer risks. Found naturally in produce, legumes and whole grains, fiber clearly is linked with good health, but not always with pleasure.

Fiber now comes in some of your favorite flavors, including pizza and muffin -- treats that can help you get your recommended 25 to 35 daily fiber grams.

Kashi whole grain frozen pizzas ($6.29, 12.8 ounces) satisfying chewy crust contains the company's trademark seven whole grain and sesame blend. Clever cooking adds richness, like the white bean puree on the cheeseless but super Sicilian veggie.

One serving (a third of a pie) contains 220 calories, 5 fat grams, 530 milligrams sodium, 11 impressive protein grams, 5 grams of fiber plus 9 grams of whole grains. Kashi frozen pizzas are available at Publix.

Like your fiber sweet? Visit a Super Target for Fiber One Muffins ($3.99, 4-count 9.2 ounce package). Available in apple cinnamon bun, banana chocolate chip and blueberry, they promise a quarter fewer calories than the leading muffin.

For one blueberry muffin, that translates into 170 calories, 4 fat grams, 200 milligrams sodium, 3 protein grams and 7 grams of fiber. Alas, they're overly sweet and gooey, and chock-full of artificial flavorings.

Bake your own muffins, pizza crust and more with Eagle Mills' Ultragrain white whole wheat flour ($3.69, 5 pounds). A quarter-cup serving contains 30 grams of whole grains -- your daily RDA -- plus 4 grams each protein and fiber. That's four times more fiber than most whole-wheat flours with the light flavor and texture of white flour. It's available at Publix.
