Miami’s Art Week kicked off with a bang Tuesday evening with the opening of Art Miami in Midtown. The VIP swarm, thousands strong, were greeted by a 16-foot bronze spiral by American Gino Mills. Blue-chip works included a massive, nine-foot-plus kinetic sculpture by Alexander Calder, with an asking price of $12.8 million. Firefighters responded to the report of a fire on the top floor of Trump Tower in Manhattan on Monday morning. Aerial views showed firefighters on the roof, with smoke billowing from one corner of the high-rise. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
