The last two presidents, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, are teaming up to launch a program to study presidential leadership and decision making.
Four presidential centers -- those of William J. Clinton, George W. Bush, George H.W. Bush and Lyndon B. Johnson -- are creating a program that will allow leaders to learn from administration officials, practitioners and leading academics.
The program will study a variety of approaches to leadership so participants are able to gain a better understanding of different leadership philosophies, styles, and practices, according to a press release. Then, the participants will apply the tools they have learned to a particular issue or challenge.
Clinton and Bush will be in Washington Sept. 8 to officially announce the launch of the Presidential Leadership Scholars program at the Newseum.
