It’s easy to obtain samples and coupons from the top baby product companies. Sign up on their websites to receive the deals by mail. Also fill out their contact form/email. Let them know that you’re a new mom and would like to receive coupons and samples. You may be surprised at what will show up at your door. If you plan on using formula, be sure to sign up with the formula companies as they are known to send out many samples, as well as high value formula checks.

Open a registry in person at retailers such as Babies R’ Us, BuyBuyBaby, Ideal Baby & Kids and Target. These retailers are known for their generous goody bags obtained by simply opening a registry. You could open the registries in person and add items later via the internet if you are short on time. Also, Motherhood Maternity gives away a free gift bag for making your first in-store purchase. There is no minumum amount you must spend to get the gift bag.
Doctor's Office Goodies
Pediatrician offices, hospitals and even some OB/GYN offices are packed with baby product samples. Don’t be afraid to ask for samples just before you leave the hospital and at every doctor's appointment. Formula, diapers, and diaper rash creams are almost always available, as well as high value coupons.
Grocery Store Baby Clubs
Sign up for your Grocery Stores Baby Clubs. Publix & Winn-Dixie will send you generous store coupons for free products such as diapers, wipes and high value coupons on all the best baby products. Even better, you can combine a manufacturer coupon with the store’s coupon that they mail to you for more money off; and you’ll possibly be able to get even more free products. You can sign up for these clubs free in store, or on their websites.

Sign up at ringling.com for the “Baby’s first circus” program once your little one is born to receive a free Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus ticket to use anytime in the future. You have until baby turns one year to sign up.
These free samples will not only help you save money, but is an excellent way to try new products before dedicating yourself to buying them. Also, purchasing baby diapering essentials when you see a great deal now, before baby arrives, is a great way to lessen the burden on your wallet after the baby is here.
