Icon Brickell’s opening weekend brought more than 220 people through the sales gallery and to tour the impressive property overlooking Biscayne Bay.
After experiencing unrivaled amenities and quality of the product, visitors were clearly impressed, a spokesperson for the developer says. Factoring in Icon’s new pricing structure, which represents a 30 percent reduction across the board, the significance of the opportunity becomes impossible to deny, adds the spokesperson.
There were more than 20 new contracts signed the past weekend, bringing to more than 50 the number of new deals signed since the new pricing was first offered to new buyers in December.
A setting that is both playful and sophisticated, Icon Brickell has graced the pages of countless style and fashion magazines since it was first unveiled.
Never miss a local story.
“I never get tired of introducing people to the property,” says Icon sales director Wendy Marks. “They just can’t believe it. How much creativity and care went into designing everything around them, from the scale of the pool to the positioning of the trees to the lighting, and on and on. Every single detail is part of the fantasy. Just to walk through Icon is a pleasure. Owning it and living it, at these prices…? People appreciate the tremendous value and know this is never going to happen again.”
An infinity-edge pool the length of a football stadium is the focal point of Icon’s “Park in the Sky.” From this private vantage point 100 feet in the air, the uninterrupted vista takes in the sweep Brickell and the downtown skyline, across Biscayne Bay to islands of Miami Beach, Fisher Island and Key Biscayne.
Embraced by Icon Brickell’s two condominium towers, the pool area is framed by rows of Japanese shade trees, flowering gardens and broad sun terraces that step down from the pool level, disappearing into the view. The ambiance is at turns whimsical and surreal, with a human-scale chessboard, a heated whirlpool as big as a backyard pool, and a dramatic alfresco banquet table angled toward a gigantic outdoor fireplace.
Inside, the 28,000-square-foot Viceroy Spa at Icon Brickell is a temple to personal comfort and pampering, says the spokesperson.
Residents can approach fitness from countless angles, with equipment and instruction in various forms of strength training, cardio and core conditioning, yoga, Pilates and spinning. They can also access professional treatments and grooming regimens, and invite friends, family and colleagues to private functions in Philippe Starck-designed party and screening rooms.
An exquisite cuisine is served day and night at Eos and an offering from Todd English will soon be opening.
The lifestyle that can be enjoyed by residents of Icon Brickell is the perfect complement to the luxuries provided in the residences themselves, says the spokesperson. Before views of the bay and skyline, daily life is marked by exceptional beauty and comfort. Marble baths, granite kitchens with Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances and all the other hallmarks of luxury the market has come to recognize are incorporated into dramatic floor plans designed to make the most of an already extravagant lifestyle.
After considering the additional appeal of immediate occupancy, clear titles, attractive financing and hassle-free closing, it is little wonder so many visitors were moved into action during the grand opening weekend, says the spokesperson.
The sales gallery and designer models are open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 305-371-1411 or visit iconbrickell.com.
