She is an award-winning, bilingual, broadcast journalist
with more than 25 years experience in radio and television,
including the Univision network, the ABC station in Miami, and
20 years with CBS in Miami.
He was the Miami Herald’s correspondent in charge of Cuba coverage
from 1995 to 2000. In 1999, he received Columbia University’s Maria Moors
Cabot award, one of the top prizes for journalists reporting on Latin America.
He coordinated The Herald’s overall coverage of Cuba as Foreign Editor from
1993-1995, and Chief of Correspondents from 2003-2008.
