Red Wings sign Tatar to 3-year deal

Detroit, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Detroit Red Wings signed forward Tomas Tatar to a three-year contract on Monday.

Tatar, 23, had 19 goals and 20 assists in 73 games for the Red Wings last season. He ranked second on the team in goals and third with a plus-12 rating.

In 100 career games, all with Detroit, the Slovakian has registered 24 goals and 47 points.
