Lightning sign Samson

Tampa, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed forward Jerome Samson to a one-year, two-way contract.
Financial terms were not released.
Samson has appeared in 46 career NHL games over parts of three seasons, all with Carolina, and has two goals with seven assists for nine points.
The 26-year-old Quebec native registered 27 goals and 56 points in 68 games for St. John's of the American Hockey League last season.
