Charlotte, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - The Charlotte Hornets have reportedly reached an agreement to sign restricted free-agent forward Gordon Hayward to a maximum four-year, $63 million offer sheet.

Yahoo Sports was among the media sources to report the move, which will become official when the league's moratorium ends Thursday. The Jazz, who have maintained since the season ended that they would re-sign Hayward no matter the cost, would then have three days to match the offer to retain Hayward's services.

Hayward averaged a career-bests of 16.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game last season, his fourth with the Jazz. He was drafted ninth overall by Utah in 2010 out of Butler.

In four seasons, the 6-foot-8 small forward has averaged 12.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists.
