Habs send D Gorges to Sabres

Buffalo, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Buffalo Sabres bolstered their defense on Tuesday by acquiring Josh Gorges from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for a 2016 second-round draft pick.
Gorges, 29, finished with one goal and 13 assists in 66 games for the Canadiens last season.
The British Columbia native has 14 goals and 98 points in 560 career games with San Jose and Montreal.
