Tampa, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Tampa Bay Lighting goaltender Anders Lindback was one of four players Monday who did not receive a qualifying offer from the team.
Lindback, defensemen Keith Aulie and Charles Landry and forward Geoff Walker will all become unrestricted free agents on Tuesday.
Lindback was thrust into a starting role for the Lightning at the end of the season after Vezina Trophy finalist Ben Bishop went down with a wrist injury.
The four-year veteran gave up 14 goals on 118 shots as Tampa Bay was swept in the first round of the playoffs by Montreal.
The Lightning issued qualifying offers to forwards Brett Connolly, Cody Kunyk, Richard Panik and Philippe Paradis and defensemen Dmitry Korobov and Andrej Sustr at the NHL deadline.
The Lightning will have the right of the first refusal on each player or will receive a draft pick as compensation should any of the players sign an offer sheet with another team.
