Redskins sign son of Jerry Rice

Loudoun County, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Washington Redskins signed free agent wideout Jerry Rice, Jr. on Thursday.
Son of the Hall-of-Fame wide receiver who spent the majority of his career with the San Francisco 49ers, the younger Rice totaled 11 catches for 86 yards and one touchdown in nine games for UNLV last year.
Prior to that, Rice played for UCLA between 2009-12, picking up nine receptions for 69 yards.
