H&M said Monday that is opening a new location this fall across from Victoria’s Secret on the west side of Pembroke Lakes Mall in Pembroke Pines. It will be the Swedish chain’s first store in Broward, as it continues to expand in Florida.

H&M, or Hennes & Mauritz, is one of the world’s largest retailers known for offering fashion-forward apparel and quality basics at affordable prices.

The 20,000 square-foot store at Pembroke Lakes Mall will include collections for ladies, men, young ladies and young men, with separate “store within store” sections for accessories, lingerie, maternity and sports apparel, the company said. It will also carry H&M’s children’s collection, which will feature quality clothing for kids ages newborn to eight, as well as H&M’s plus-size line, H&M+.

Since H&M opened its first U.S. store on New York’s Fifth Avenue thirteen years ago, the retailer said the United States has been one of its most important markets, with 268 locations.

In South Florida, H&M has stores on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach and at Aventura Mall in Aventura.
