Weather alert: Storms expected in South Florida, then a temperature drop

A sunny morning will give way to a stormy afternoon, and then a breath of fresh air overnight.
“Summer day with sun to start,” CBS4 meteorologist Lissette Gonzalez said on her Facebook page.
Forecasters are expecting strong storms to sweep through South Florida later Monday before moving out around 5 p.m. Winds could gust up to 50 mph and the National Weather Service says some areas could see flooding.
Overnight, a cool front will bring temperatures down to the high 60s and into early Tuesday morning.
Tuesday will bring sunny skies with highs around 80 and lows around 70.
