Miami Heat opens playoffs hosting Bucks at 7 p.m. Sunday

The Miami Heat will open the 2013 NBA Playoffs by hosting the Milwaukee Bucks at 7 p.m. on Sun., April 21, the league announced just before 2 a.m. on Thursday morning.

The Miami Heat will open the 2013 NBA Playoffs against the Milwaukee Bucks at 7 p.m. on Sun., April 21 at AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, the league announced just before 2 a.m. on Thursday morning.

Game 2 will be Tue., April 23, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. in Miami.

TNT and Sun Sports will televise Game 1, and NBA TV and Sun will air Game 2. The series will shift to Milwaukee for Game 3 on Thu., April 25. The second half of that game will compete for TV viewers with part of the first round of the NFL Draft.

ABC will televise Game 4 of the series on Sun., April 28, but passed on airing Game 1 of Heat-Bucks in either of its two windows this weekend, opting instead for Celtics-Knicks on Saturday and Lakers-Spurs on Sunday.

Tickets for the first two games of the series went on sale April 8 and are available at Heat.com, Ticketmaster.com, at the Heat’s ticket office at AmericanAirlines Arena and through 1-800-4NBA-TIX.
