A 28-year-old man was killed Monday morning in a stabbing and shooting inside a car in Miami Gardens.
Four people who knew each other were inside the vehicle about 5:30 a.m. when an argument started. At least one knife came out, as did a gun. In moments, James Nelson, 28, was dead of a gunshot wound. Police said Lindsay Graves, 25, stabbed someone in the car. That person was listed in stable condition at the Ryder Trauma Center after being treated for multiple stab wounds.
Miami Gardens police said Monday afternoon they had arrested Graves and charged him with aggravated battery and murder. The vehicle carrying the four people had traveled to Nelson’s home in the 2900 block of Northwest 157th Street when the argument began, police said.
