Ultra Music Festival, which just wrapped up its two-weekend blitz of outdoor electronic music, said that next year it plans to return for one three-day weekend of festivities, March 28-30, 2014.

Ultra said that this year was its most successful yet, with more than 330,000 electronic music enthusiasts descending upon downtown Miami’s Bayfront Park to attend two consecutive weekends of events. It was the first time in its 15 year history that the event extended two weekends.

During each of the six days, Ultra events were streamed live over the internet via UMF TV, reaching over 10 milion viewers and making it the largest viewed festival event in the United States to date, Ultra said. More than 200 of the world’s leading DJs and electronic musicians as well as emerging artists participated each weekend.

A global brand, Ultra Music Festival takes place in Miami, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Ibiza and Korea, expanding into Europe in July with Ultra Europe, in Croatia.
