A Chase bank teller in Miramar was held up Tuesday morning by a suspect who walked out empty-handed because he was tired of waiting for the teller to hand him the money.

Nearby officers caught the suspect as he was walking out of the bank, 6860 Miramar Pkwy., without any loot.

The suspect had handed the teller a note but did not show a gun, Miramar police spokeswoman Tania Rues said.

Police got the 911 call at 9:02 a.m., she said.

The FBI is investigating.
