The open spaces of Canyon Ranch Living Miami Beach may seem a little more occupied this summer. Nearly 200 owners have joined the oceanfront community over the past year.
About 90 percent of the newest residents of Canyon Ranch make their primary homes in the Northeast and Latin America, said Michael Sadov, Real Estate Sales Director at Canyon Ranch Living Miami Beach. Many of them were referred by current owners who lauded the lifestyle and amenities.
“Whereas once we were introducing people to the benefits of living at Canyon Ranch, our newest owners have learned how special it is to live here from friends, relatives and business associates,” said Sadov. “It’s a remarkable testament to Canyon Ranch that our owners are spending more and more of their time here.”
Canyon Ranch is a community of 580 artfully designed residences spread across three blue-glass towers – North, South and Center – with a true wellness spa and 150 all-suite hotel on the lower floors of the Center tower, the original Carillon Hotel. Condominium owners enjoy a holistic approach to living that is structured around four guiding principles: physical activity, nutrition, spiritual awareness and integrative health.
In late 2010, Pordes Residential was brought in to market the condominiums. About 150 residences closed in 2011, with one-, two- and three-bedroom residences selling at prices ranging from $425,000 to more than $3 million.
The sales pace has continued in 2012. A large majority of the residences in the North tower, which formally opened in March 2011, have been sold, and very limited availability remains in the Central and South towers.
“This will be our best and probably our last year for new residence sales,” said Sadov. “Very few new homes remain in the North tower after formally opening last year at this time. At this pace, we expect very limited inventory by the end of summer.”
Canyon Ranch Living Miami Beach appeals to individuals who want to create and maintain a healthy lifestyle, principal Mark Pordes said. “They love the oceanfront location, but what persuades them to live here is the unmatched opportunity to improve their physical, mental and emotional well-being.”
