Inaugurated in 1997 by The Miami Herald, the Americas Conference® is the region's premier business and political forum on Latin America and the Caribbean. Last year, over 550 international executives and government leaders attended. The Miami Herald's credibility and extensive contacts have been critical factors in the conference's success.
The Americas Conference® welcomed The World Bank as a programming partner in 2008. The two organizations combine their efforts to plan the 2011 Americas Conference® leveraging their extensive contacts in Latin America and the Caribbean.
In 2011, the conference will be hosted at the historic Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida, on November 14th. The forum’s theme encompasses the challenges and opportunities in the region: “Latin America's Decade or Bubble?” From upcoming elections, political and fiscal stress, innovation and social prosperity, and ample discussions on how the region will face these issues? These topics and more will be examined throughout this critical one-day conference. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend! Register now.
