Crime drama's looking a little lost
BY ERIC DEGGANS
St. Petersburg Times
The image is striking: A city skyline, bracketed by palm trees, looms ominously as a single building rises, like the tip of cigarette butt, to lean against the logo for the crime drama CSI: Miami, seen 10 p.m. Mondays on WFOR-CBS 4.
It's a photo the network has been using on promotional video clips since May. There's just one problem: The image is from Tampa.
Rendered against a gritty-looking background, the photo in the logo seems to feature the Rivergate Tower in downtown Tampa, where it's affectionately known as the ``Beer Can'' building.
CBS spokeswoman Beth Haiken said the photo was mislabeled by an outside company that provides stock images for their graphics. The network, she said, will find a new image for the logo.
