Trevor Walker, a Massachusetts Institute of Technology sophomore from Miami Shores, is a finalist in the Jeopardy! College Championship this week.
Walker won the first two rounds and will compete in the two-episode championship that concludes Friday night.
The winner gets $100,000.
Walker is in Boston studying electrical engineering and computer science. Those technical fields combined with his lifelong love of all facts has served him well on the show thus far.
Regardless of Walker’s efforts in the next two days of play he will receive a substantial amount of prize money: The first runner-up receives $50,000 and the second runner-up receives $25,000.
The Jeopardy! College Championship airs locally on WPLG-ABC 10 at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 16 and Friday, May 17.
