Critic's Pick | Sarah Kane's '4.48 Psychosis'

A severely depressed woman nearing the end of her life wrote 4.48 Psychosis, a play about a severely depressed woman nearing the end of her life. The script for Sarah Kane's final play has sparked a wildly imaginative production at The Naked Stage, one that is nightmarish and dream-like, deeply emotional and surreal (and for adults only). Kim Ehly and Katherine Amadeo play lovers caught in one woman's downward spiral. Naked Stage performs the play at Barry University's Pelican Theatre, 11300 NE Second Ave., Miami Shores, through May 18. Shows are 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $25 ($18 seniors, $12 students). Call 1-866-811-4111 or visit www.nakedstage.org or www.theatermania.com.
