Mango brunch highlights Fairchild festival
Chefs Allen Susser, Mark Militello, Roly Cruz-Taura, Giancarla Bodoni and Charles Froke will be in the kitchen at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens, 10901 Old Cutler Rd., Coral Gables, on Sunday for the 11 a.m. mango brunch, a highlight of this weekend's 17th International Mango Festival. Reserve tickets (garden members $75, others $100) at 305-663-8091.
The festival, which begins at 9:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, includes mango tastings, cooking demos and children's activities. Admission: adults $20, seniors $15, children 6-17 $10, younger tots and members free; www.fairchildgarden.org.
