Wine dinners at Capital Grille, Bourbon Steak, North One 10

• For six weeks, beginning Monday, The Capital Grille, 444 Brickell Ave., Miami, and 2430 E. Sunrise Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, will offer wine tastings designed by the restaurant chain's master sommelier, George Miliotes. For $10 with lunch and $25 with dinner, diners will sample up to 12 wines from a particular region. First up: Argentina; www.thecapitalgrille.com.

• Bourbon Steak at the Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort, 19999 W. Country Club Dr., Aventura, launches a monthly wine dinner series at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday with a four-course meal by new executive chef Gabriel Fenton that stars New York steak with fingerling potatoes, cipollini onions and a foie gras emulsion paired with the 2005 Lancaster Estate Sophia's Hillside Cuvee. Cost is $75; reserve at 786-279-6600.

• North One 10, 11052 Biscayne Blvd., Miami, presents its fifth annual Godfather Dinner July 18 with courses including Luca Brasi Swims with the Fishes (Sicilian-style local snapper), Sonny's Last Supper (Angus sirloin with pizzaiola sauce and eggplant timbale) and It's All Over Now Baby (chocolate and orange torte and Little Italy zeppole). Cost, including Banfi wines, is $48. Mob attire is optional but reservations are required; 305-893-4211.
