Ed and Kathy D'Alesio with Anthony Silvestro, owner of Antonio's Pizza-Rant in Shenandoah Square in Davie.
For nearly 20 years, Ed and Kathy D'Alesio have been going 'just around the corner' to their fave restaurant, Antonio's Pizza-Rant in Shenandoah Square in Davie. The couple has been such a fixture at the place that 'very friendly' co-owner Anthony Silvestro Jr. has named D'Alesio's favorite thin and crispy pizza 'Ed's Pizza.' Kathy's favorite is the chicken Francese. 'Another favorite is the shrimp scampi, and the eggplant Parmigiana (well done) is great as are all the pasta dishes,' says Ed. 'When our grandsons come with us, their favorite is the gnocchi with meat sauce.' The D'Alesios rave about the servers as well. `They do a really nice job.'
Antonio's Pizza is in Shenandoah Square, 13718 W State Road 84, Davie, 954-424-1640. Other locations at Regency Square, 4831 SW 148th Ave., Davie, 954-434-1316; Vizcaya Square, 837 N. Nob Hill Rd., Plantation, 954-382-1199.
