• Dan Aykroyd made an appearance in both the Broward and Dade Blue Martinis to show off his latest work -- Crystal Head Vodka.

''This is like old-time moonshine,'' said the former Saturday Night Live star, 56. ``It's very dry, a little creamy with a bit of an undertaste to it. It isn't as slippery as a lot of vodkas today.''

If Aykroyd sounds knowledgeable, that's because he is -- being part owner of Diamond Estates Wine & Spirits, and all.

Even though the Ghostbuster's humor can be on the silly side, his diamond-filtered vodka is serious.

''It's not for college kids,'' he said. ''This is expensive stuff.'' (It will retail for about $50).

• At 11 p.m. tonight at The Fifth, Joe Gannascoli, better known as gay gangsta Vito from The Sopranos, is set to throw down some cocktails made with Dyna-Pep, a new ``endurance drink.''

Gannascoli, 49, is actually a pretty interesting guy. You can talk to him about his crime novel, A Meal to Die For; his line of pasta sauces based on on-set meals catered from Little Italy; or his ''embarrassing'' stint as a Celebrity Fit Club contestant.

''I despised it,'' he said. ``The good thing was that I won a lot of prizes, got paid and lost 42 pounds.''
