What we're checking out this week

The video for Lady Gaga's Bad Romance is out on YouTube. It's by Francis Lawrence, who directed Will Smith in I Am Legend and videos for Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez and Justin Timberlake, to name a few. The vid takes place in a futuristic Russian bath house where Gaga is kidnapped by vampish models who force her to drink vodka and perform for a group of hot mobster types. No alcohol necessary here; the clip is stunningly stylish and easy to swallow. In its first week, Bad Romance got more than 6 millions views. Also catch Gaga doing a performance at 9 p.m. tonight on CW's Gossip Girl.
TRY
Men, kick the signs of Father Time with Facial Fuel from Kiehl's. This non-oily vitamin enriched mositurizer wakens and uplifts dull skin, improves your overall look and is not tested on animals (a big thumbs up for all you PETA lovers). Key ingredients are chestnut extract and vitamin C. Moisturize, moisturize. At Kiehl's stores and www.kiehls.com. 2.5 fl. oz $20.50. 4.2 fl. oz. $29.50.
WATCH
Forget E!'s The Soup. Flip over to the Style Channel and watch The Dish hosted by Danielle Fishel (Boy Meets World). The show gives an irreverent spin on the week's best and worst in fashion and lifestyle news, events and television. Two of the best segments are ``The Clip Closet,'' when you never know who's gonna pop out of the door (from Martha Stewart to Nene from The Real Housewives of Atlanta) and ``The Freak of the Week,'' usually a whacked-out Bridezilla on the verge of a breakdown. Fishel's quick improv style leaves you laughing long after the credits roll.
SEE
Miami Herald critic Rene Rodriguez calls Precious -- about an overweight teen pregnant with her second child by her father in 1980s Harlem -- ``one of the darkest and most harrowing depictions of child abuse ever captured on screen.'' See the film, costarring Mo'Nique (pictured), before it gets nominated for an Oscar and the crowds start rolling in. Out Friday.
DRINK
Açaí still reigns. Not only do these purple berries contain an amazing combination of health-promoting nutrients -- among them antioxidants, dietary fiber and monounsaturated fats -- but they have a uniquely kicky taste. Sambazon's premium juice beverages are all organic and pack in 600 percent of our daily value of Vitamin C. Take that, swine flu! At health food stores and sambazon.com.
