Are you a big 50 Cent fan, despite his waning popularity in recent years? Are you willing to pay what will likely be a pretty penny to be in the same club with him, even if he's not performing?

If you answered yes to the above questions, then LIV nightclub in the Fontainebleau Miami Beach is where you'll want to be at 11 p.m. Friday, as Curtis Jackson (his real name) launches his new fragrance, Power.

It's a bit bizarre that the Queens-born rapper, 34, won't be performing, despite the looming Nov. 16 release of his long-awaited fourth studio album, Before I Self Destruct.

And it seems a bit hypocritical for an entertainer like 50 Cent to be launching a fragrance -- which he called ``a sensual toxicant'' -- when he's often criticized other major hip-hop acts (most recently Jay-Z) for portraying a double image of being both a gangster and a gentleman.

It'll also be interesting to see what kind of reaction he gets in Miami, after his constant barrage of attacks on one of the 305's biggest artists, Rick Ross.

FYI: The cologne, with touches of dark wood, coriander and musk, hit Macy's counters Thursday, with prices ranging from $50.50 (for a 1.7 oz. eau de toilette) to $68.50 (for a gift set of eau de toilette and after shave).
