CELEBRITY ROUNDUP
Big house for Lil Wayne?
Lil Wayne pleaded guilty to attempted weapon possession Thursday and expects to receive a one-year jail sentence.
The Grammy-winning rapper -- who was just in town to party at the W South Beach had previously pleaded not guilty to illegal gun possession charges that carried at least 3 ½ years in prison upon conviction.
In New York, he entered his plea to second-degree attempted weapon possession, a felony, and acknowledged he had a .40 caliber semi-automatic loaded gun on a tour bus back in 2007.
Wayne's troubles are far from over -- the 27-year-old entertainer still faces felony drug possession and weapons charges in Arizona after police found marijuana, cocaine, ecstasy and a (different) handgun on his tour bus in 2008.
`BACHELOR' NO MORE
Last season's Bachelor, Jason Mesnick, who infamously changed his mind after the finale and ditched Melissa Rycroft for Molly Malaney on national television, has finally made an honest woman out of the runnerup. The single father went back to the scene of the crime, New Zealand, to get down on bended knee.
THE THICKE OF IT
Congratulations are in order for Robin Thicke. Wife Paula Patton is preggie. The couple -- former high school sweethearts -- have been married since 2005. It's a happy union: ``She could make a marriage work with a chair,'' he has said.
Tell him congrats yourself -- the Lost Without You singer, 32, will appear at Macy's Fashion Store, first floor, Dadeland Mall, 6 p.m. Tuesday, signing autographs and performing.
TERRIBLE 2-SOME?
Now, this would be an odd hookup: Gerard Butler and Jessica Simpson.
Page Six reports the Scottish hunk, 39, and singer-turned-reality queen, 29, were spotted having a cozy dinner Tuesday night in New York City Tuesday. It's probably nothing, since her ever-present hair stylist Ken Paves was there as a third wheel.
And isn't Butler supposed to be with his Bounty costar Jennifer Aniston?
DATING ADVICE
Can't wait for the new Sex and the City movie? Nicole Williams will tide you over.
The Girl On Top author will dispense sassy, savvy advice for singles and dating in the workplace (hello, David Letterman?) 6 p.m. Friday, also at Dadeland Mall.
Warner Brothers has bought the rights to the book, which will reportedly be turned into a He's Just Not That Into You-esque movie.
