CELEBRITY ROUNDUP
'Jon & Kate:' Stick a fork in it
It's over -- it's really over. Or so we hope.
Jon & Kate Plus 8, which in recent months had become just about as fun as watching Hulk and Linda Hogan duke it out in court, will stop filming new episodes next month.
Blame it on dad: Jon Gosselin threw a hissy fit after being written out of the TLC show and forbade filming of his brood of eight.
We hear the network will squeeze out a couple remaining episodes from existing footage before putting the show out to Pennsylvania pasture.
WHAT WENT WRONG?
So why did Todd English ditch Erica Wang one week before their $150,000 wedding?
The celebuchef, 49, claims abuse -- verbal and physical. English even filed assault charges with the NYPD for a September altercation, in which Wang, 33, allegedly hit her fiance in the eye.
``An animal wouldn't treat another animal the way he has treated me,'' said Wang, English's former personal assistant, in The New York Post. ``He is forgetting I am human.'' She denies any violence.
Since the nixed NYC nuptials, the owner of Fort Lauderdale's da Campo Osteria has partied it up at various South Florida hot spots (Wall, Meat Market, etc.).
SIT ON THIS
Mexican rocker Alejandra Guzman has been hospitalized with an infection from buttocks injections.
The Latin Grammy winner says she blames the director of the clinic (who has since been arrested). She said she underwent the shots to make herself more attractive to a new boyfriend.
GOING GAGA
New Year's Eve in Miami will be all about Lady Gaga. The eccentric pop star's North American tour, The Monster Ball, starts in Montreal on Nov. 27 and arrives in Miami on Dec. 31 at the Knight Center. Get ready to get your tickets -- it's not a huge venue.
Gaga describes the show on her Web page: ``The Monster Ball is a multimedia artistic experience in the style of the first-ever `pop electro opera.' ''
