Celebuchef gets back on the Market

lank@aol.com

A week after leaving his bride-not-to-be at the altar in NYC, celebuchef Todd English was back on the Meat Market -- as in the Lincoln Road restaurant, where he dined with friends Thursday night. English was seen watching ``his Sox'' (the Red ones, that is) play baseball, sipping on ice cold beer and noshing on Chef Sean Brasel's Kobe beef sliders and the Meat Market Caesar salad.

Spotted at a wine tasting that was being filmed by a French documentary crew at W Wine Boutique on Alton Road last weekend: Entourage actress Jamie Lynn Sigler with, says our spy, ``an older fellow. Not real old, but older than her.''

Miami Dolphins defensive back Vontae Davis was spotted recently at the newly opened Morton's The Steakhouse in Miami Beach.

Although the Latin Grammy Awards take place in Las Vegas this year (the show will air live on Univisión on Nov. 5), the Latin Recording Academy is throwing a big (and free) street party on Sunday with performances by Braily, Buena Gente, Willy Chirino, Issac Delgado, Grupo Treo, Hansel y Raul and Maikol & Karo. The party starts at noon and takes place on West 16th Avenue between 37th and 41st streets in Hialeah.

May Billy Mays rest in peace, but for those in this great big infomercial known as life, there are still products to be shilled. Media Enterprises, the company that brought you the famous Mays-approved Mighty Putty and Mighty Mendit, is holding auditions to find America's next screamer infomercial spokesmen and products. Two winners -- an inventor and a spokesperson -- will be chosen and awarded $100,000. Aspiring candidates should show up at the Eden Roc at 8 a.m. Monday or Tuesday. Inventors must bring a working prototype of their product, and spokespeople need to be prepared to present a pitch for the product of their choice. Shouting is not required, but helpful, and if you audition on Monday you may get a second audition free. That's right, a second AUDITION FREE! FOR THE PRICE OF ONE! FREE!! CALL NOW. AND GOOD LUCK.
