It's Kate minus Jon on TV

Good news: We'll be seeing a lot less of lothario dad Jon Gosselin. TLC has dropped him from Jon & Kate Plus 8, which will soon be simply Kate Plus Eight.
That's the word from the network, who announced Tuesday that its hit show is adapting to changes in the Gosselin household, which has been disrupted by the split between the cantankerous couple.
The renamed show, which begins Nov. 2, will continue to chronicle the lives of their kids (5-year-old sextuplets and 8-year-old twins) but will also focus on Kate as a single mother. This will leave the bachelor more time for dating, presumably.
Want irony? Jon's lawyer says that Gosselin filed paperwork hoping to stall his divorce for 90 days, to mend their fractured relationship.
Sorry, sounds like Kate's moved on -- she also reportedly taped a pilot for a talk show costarring Food Network star Paula Deen.
COUPLES NEWS
Three months after his Las Vegas wedding to Esther Nazarov, Limp Bizkit's frontman Fred Durst is getting a divorce. Better said: annulment.
``For those of you inquiring I will confirm that Esther and I have decided to go our separate ways and we both thank you for your support,'' Durst Tweeted.
• Jon Cryer and his wife, Lisa Joyner, adopted a baby girl. The infant, named Daisy, was born last month and is the first child for Cryer, 44, and Joyner, 42, who married in 2007.
The Two and a Half Men Emmy winner also has a 9-year-old son (Charlie) from his marriage to British actress Sarah Trigger (Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey). In May, Trigger was arrested on charges of felony child abuse (of her other son). The exes still apparently share custody.
• Who even knew Emmy Rossum was married? Well, not for much longer. Her husband of one year, music exec Justin Siegel, filed papers at LA County Superior Court last week, reports People mag. Irreconcilable differences.
Rossum, 23, got her big break in 2003's Mystic River, and then The Phantom of the Opera. The New York native is rumored to be now dating Counting Crows lead singer Adam Duritz.
• Claire Danes is a so-called wife. The actress, 30, got married to 34-year-old Hugh Dancy, her costar in the 2006 weeper Evening.
Danes has looked for love a while, having dated Aussie musician Ben Lee (who just had a baby girl with wife, '80s actress Ione Skye), Matt Damon and Billy Crudup. Danes' affair with Crudup supposedly caused the end of his relationship with then-pregnant Mary-Louise Parker.
IT WAS AN ACCIDENT
Celebrity disc jockey DJ AM died accidentally from a lethal cocktail of prescription drugs and cocaine, the medical examiner's office ruled Tuesday.
The toxicology report showed the 36-year-old had in his system cocaine, OxyContin, Hydrocodone or Vicodin, antianxiety drugs Xanax and Ativan, Klonopin, which also controls anger, Benadryl, and Levamisole, a drug apparently used to cut cocaine.
The cause of Adam Goldstein's death in August was acute intoxication due to the combined effects the drugs.
