The versatile Woody Harrelson has played a basketball hustler, a bounty hunter, a goofy bartender and a country singer. In his newest gig, the 48-year-old actor is playing a banjo-toting murderer. But not the Natural Born Killers kind -- he's shooting zombies this time.

Harrelson and co-star Jesse Eisenberg have been touring the country to promote Zombieland, and made a stop Monday night at Sunset Place.

In typical fashion, the hemp-loving Harrelson dressed down for the red carpet (he sported a blue shirt, loose fitting pants and a pair of Crocs).

Harrelson told reporters he enjoyed making the comedy. ``It was a different role for me, and I hope everyone likes it.''

You may remember an April incident at a New York airport when Harrelson clashed with a photographer and later claimed he mistook the paparazzo for a zombie. So is he still seeing zombies?

We're not sure. We can tell you that no zombies were injured at the premiere, but he sure did kill a bunch of them on the big screen.

Across town, at a slightly more elegant affair, Gloria and Emilo Estefan presented the Simon Wiesenthal Center's Legacy Award to their friend, Mario Kreutzberger, better known as Don Francisco, renowned host of Univisión's Sabado Gigante.

Celeb attendees to the soiree, held at the Hotel InterContinental, included WTVJ-NBC 6 news anchor Jackie Nespral and Chilean singer Alberto Plaza.
