LA VIDA LOCAL

Tired of your wife, oops, life?

Want to switch lives for a week? Wife Swap is currently casting for its fifth season.

Producers are looking for open-minded individuals who are ``up for adventure.''

The deal: For seven days, two wives from two families with very different husbands, children and lives get to discover what it's like to step into another domestic situation. Feel free to tinker with whatever you please -- discipline, cleaning, TV schedules.

Says casting producer Gaby Wilson: ``It's an interesting social experiment and a great way to see your family in a whole new light.''

Participants receive an undisclosed sum. If you refer someone who is picked, you make $1,000.

Requirement: The family must live in a two-parent home with at least one child between 7 and 17 living at home full-time.

MEET BROOKE

Brooke Hogan wants you to know that her album, The Redemption, is ready for purchase. The Brooke Knows Best star will be signing copies from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Wal-Mart, 4700 Flamingo Rd., Cooper City.

Later on (midnight), Brookie will perform a few tracks at Opium at The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, near Hollywood.

The Redemption is Hogan's second stab at putting out music. From what we've heard of it, it's light, summery and utterly forgettable.

Don't expect mom and dad to show at either venue -- Linda and Hulk are busy putting the final touches on their divorce.

MARR

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

New York rapper Lil' Kim hearts Mansion. At least enough to throw her birthday bash at the South Beach club.

Kim -- who turned 34 July 11 -- drank champagne and hung out in the packed VIP with her best buds Trina, Fat Joe, Jagged Edge, Bryant McKinnie and Lisa Raye.

The Dancing with the Stars alum looked bootylicious in a see-through little black number.

So what has the Queen Bee been doing lately? Word is she is planning on making her own autobiographical movie and will release her fifth album in the next few months.

Missed out on the fun?

Kim is expected to make appearance at the McKinnie charity party Saturday at Karu & Y, 71 NW 14th St., Miami.
