Britain’s Ecosse Films says Caught in Flight will focus on the two years before Diana’s death in a Paris car crash in August 1997. It is directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel ( Downfall). Filmmakers said the biopic “charts how finding true personal happiness for the first time” allowed Diana to find her role as “a major international campaigner and humanitarian.”

  What irreconcilable differences? A picture is floating around the Web of divorced Dexter co-stars Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter walking around Venice Beach, Calif., arm in arm, looking sooo in love. Hall was rumored to be having an affair with Season 5 guest star Julia Stiles, though that was never proven. Season 7’s premiere date is Sept. 30 on Showtime.

  A judge ruled Chris Brown must continue to remain under the watchful eye of a probation officer as he works to complete the terms of his sentence for beating then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. The Grammy-nominated R&B singer did not appear for a brief hearing during which his attorney asked that Brown’s term on supervised probation be ended because of his good behavior. He has completed half of the six months’ worth of roadside cleanup, graffiti removal and other manual labor.

  Chelsea Handler was almost a Teen Mom. While appearing on The Rosie Show, the 36-year-old TV host revealed she got pregnant when she was 16 — and was determined to keep it. “I was so delusional,’’ said Handler, who costars in This Means War. “I was like, ‘I’m ready for a baby.’’’ Handler’s parents convinced her otherwise.

  Get ready for The Pauly D Project, a 10:30 p.m. Thursday spinoff that will fill the void left by Jersey Shore, which wraps up its fifth season March 15. It will follow Shore’s resident DJ’s new life. At 10, it’s a revamped version of Punk’d, which returns after a five-year break. Ashton Kutcher no longer hosts the celebrity prank show; it’s now helmed by guest hosts like Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and Kellan Lutz.
