Q:A long time ago, I saw a movie with Andy Griffith and he was the bad guy. He and two others on dirt bikes were harassing a couple in a pickup. The film ended with Andy flying (in slow motion) off a cliff on his bike. What is the name of the picture and is it available?
A: You are most likely remembering Pray for the Wildcats, a 1974 TV movie starring Griffith as a nasty businessman on a motorcycle trip with three other guys (William Shatner, Robert Reed and Marjoe Gortner). I do not know of an authorized DVD release. It did come out on VHS, and I have seen copies for sale on Amazon.com and eBay.
Q: For some time I have been trying to find a movie called Time Share starring Timothy Dalton and Nastassja Kinski. It's not in any of the video stores. It's not in the video and movie books.
A: The movie was made in Germany and released in 2000; according to All Movie Guide, it was shown on the old Fox Family Channel in the United States that year. But it appears to have been released on DVD and VHS only overseas. Amazon.com sells a DVD that is in a European format that does not work in all U.S. DVD players. There might be sites that have converted it to the U.S. format for resale, but so far, I have not found one.
