Russian company that bought Trump Tower condo has ironic name

A Russian-born investor with a sense of irony just bought a condo in Sunny Isles Beach under the name Trump Real Estate Investments LLC. While several investigations into suspected collusion between the winning presidential campaign of Donald Trump and Russia’s government are raging, the LLC just bought a beachside condo for $1.1 million at Trump Tower III.

Four months after 28-year-old Rupert Tarsey was elected secretary of the Broward County Republican Party executive board, party officials have found out the young philanthropist and supporter of President Donald Trump is really Rupert Ditsworth. And a decade ago, the then-Beverly Hills teenager was charged with attempted murder in Los Angeles after hitting Harvard-Westlake School classmate Elizabeth Barcay over the head at least 40 times with a claw hammer, splitting her skull open.

Bank seeks to oust ex-’Real Housewives of Miami’ star from Miami Beach home

Alexia Echevarria, a magazine publisher who was known as “the Cuban Barbie” on “Real Housewives of Miami,” has been slapped with a foreclosure lawsuit by BankUnited. The bank claims Echevarria stopping making payments in February on the mortgage on her home near the Normandy Shores Golf Course in Miami Beach. The Miami Lakes bank now wants $1,636,385.82, including interest, or the house will be sold at auction.

Victims’ families call Jose Fernandez ‘grossly negligent,’ seek punitive damages

The lawyers for Emilio Macias and Eduardo Rivero, whom Fernandez took for the tragic late night ride after hours of partying, now want to update their complaint with a request for punitive damages. Their motion, which calls 24-year-old Cuban defector Fernandez “grossly negligent,” was filed last week — after the two sides of the lawsuit received an unredacted version of the accident report from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Fishing captain, inventor once were lovebirds; now they’re suing each other, and it’s not pretty

A local female fishing captain and her rich inventor former boyfriend are entangled in a pair of ugly lawsuits that hint at a violence-filled relationship. Capt. Lace Allenius, 32, owner of Fishing Adventures With Lace, and Fort Lauderdale multi-millionaire Merrill Brooks Smith, her 62-year-old ex-beau, have been flinging ugly allegations of gold-digging and domestic abuse at each other in a Palm Beach County court.
