AFTER DARK
Rock around the clock at these watering holes

Most bars stay open until 2 a.m. Others don't close the doors until 4. But the most nocturnal night owls know they can belly up to the bar at Andy's Lounge until 8 in the morning.
In Davie at 12450 W. State Road 84, this nightspot continues to serve beer, wine and the hard stuff to a relatively boisterous bunch while most other folks are comfortably coasting along through the last stage of REM sleep.
Andy's attracts the in-the-biz crowd that needs to unwind after their shifts end at other bars and restaurants. Their entourages come, too. These guys are notorious for pulling people into their festivities like a strong undertow, so don't plan to sit quietly alone in the corner with your thoughts and a drink. Your night is destined for a different direction.
The fun doesn't have to stop at 8 a.m. because ``last call'' isn't ever called at the Center Bar. This guitar-pick shaped bar, located in the center of the casino at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino (1 Seminole Way, Hollywood), stays open 24/7.
After a long night that overflows into early morning, you might be feeling a bit dazed and confused. If you aren't ready to switch to water, the appropriately named Dazed and Confused will certainly keep you on your partying path. It's mixed with Cuervo Gold tequila, peach schnapps, cranberry juice and sour mix. Sixteen other specialty drinks, all named after rock songs, are also available.
You may actually hear some of these songs because hard-driving music is perpetually pumped through hidden speakers. The music is loud enough to take the edge off of the constant beeps and blips of the surrounding sea of slot machines, but if you get an impulse to wager on a few spins, you won't have to leave your seat. Slot machines, accepting $1 to $100 bets, are embedded into the granite counter.
You'll be vying for the bartender's attention with folks who are fresh from a full night's sleep and others who are on the last leg of an all-nighter. Some have recently turned 21, and some have been drinking since the repeal of Prohibition. Regardless of what generation they represent, many of them were absent that day in health class when you're taught that smoking is harmful to one's health. Luckily, the filtration system keeps the air perfectly breathable for nonsmokers.
For a more quaint setting, head to the nearby Lobby Bar, which serves a quick drink to those boogieing to the beat of the bands that play every day. If you're a Scotch drinker, you'll be impressed by the selection. The Macallan has been aged for 18 years which, coincidentally, is about how long the night will feel if you're still running with the crowd from Andy's Lounge.
