The 1970s are back! Here are the trends that celebs are wearing in 2016.
The runways have been full of models rocking high-waisted bell-bottom pants and the street-style influencers seem to be following with the trend. Florida actress Cassie Scerbo recently posted her version of bell-bottoms on her Instagram page. Moschino also displayed its resort 2017 collection last week, which was filled with wide-legged pants. During Miami Fashion Week, Italian designer Christina Ferrari, owner of the Fisico brand, also had a 1970s themed show where bell-bottom jumpers made an appearance.

Round sunglasses are in style, too. Prada and Miu Miu have been carrying round and oval-shaped sunglasses for years. The Miu Miu 13ns and PR27ns are two classic styles that would fully glam up a 1970s inspired look. More affordable brands such as Ray-Ban also hopped on the bandwagon; newer styles can be customized and purchased for $185 on ray-ban.com. Quay Australia also sells various round styles priced between $50 and $60.
Fringed shirts, sweaters, handbags and even shoes are part of the styles of many trendsetters such as Kim Kardashian and Olivia Palermo who have been spotted wearing fringed garments and accessories. Stylecaster.com named fringe styles the top 10 trends of this year’s spring, after seeing it consecutively on the runways of New York Fashion Week.
