The state of Florida has a new hero, and his name is John Brown. On Friday’s live telecast of Good Day Orlando, the newsman had enough of the Kardashians and couldn’t take them anymore. During a segment on Kylie Jenner’s new bunny that she named Bruce for you know who, Brown walked off camera in protest. “I don't care about this family. I'm sick of this family,” he yelled. “It's a nonstory!” Safe to say he won’t be perusing Kim’s Instagram account for her latest pregnant selfie. Actually, the rant may have been a joke: The co-anchor later wrote on his Facebook page: “Sorry, I lost my mind a bit, although it was partially in jest! I did feel better though after I was done though.”
Avril Lavigne’s not the only public figure who’s been talking about her struggles with Lyme disease, a mysterious tick-borne illness. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Yolanda Foster also has made no secret of her years-long battle with the debilitating ailment. The latest case: Ariel Stein from defunct Bravo reality show Miami Social, about a group of friends who party and gossip. It had a seven episode run in 2009.
In Stein’s case, as his friend, film student Cesar Barona, writes on a recently created GoFundMe page to help with ongoing medical care: The Miami Beach resident, 32, first came down with symptoms in May 2014. Stein, who has no health insurance, has developed a wide range of maladies including “early stage arthritis; irritable bowel syndrome ... migraines, brain fogs, edema, loss of range in motion and a tremendous amount of anxiety,” Barona writes of the event marketer turned budding fashion designer.
Yes, Serena Williams is in better shape than you. See for yourself in New York magazine’s fashion issue, on stands: The tennis titan does a split on ... parallel bars. Don’t try that at home. Or anywhere.
