The explanation: “Sometimes I can be a little too bull headed and stubborn. I gotta stop running my body to the ground. I be wanting to grind nonstop but the engine can’t run on fumes.” In 2012, Cannon was diagnosed with lupus nephritis, an autoimmune disease. But it’s unclear if this recent hospitalization is related to his condition.
No more bad blood. Or so we hope. Taylor Swift has apologized to Nicki Minaj after trading e-words over the MTV Video Music Awards nominations. Swift tweeted that she thought she was “being called out” by Minaj, adding, “I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke.” It all started when Minaj complained that she wasn’t given a video of the year nod for Anaconda, and would have been had she been “a different kind of artist.” Caught up, yet? Regardless, Minaj is nominated for three awards, including best female video and hip-hop video.
