Surprise, surprise: Tom Cruise showed up in a lot of people’s social media feeds over the holiday weekend. The movie star popped up on the roof of the Acme Feed & Seed bar in Nashville to watch a fireworks show on July 4. No word on why Cruise was in town (perhaps visitig his ex Nicole Kidman who lives there with Keith Urban? Nah), but apparently the actor was friendly and posed for countless selfies.
Canadian crooner Michael Bublé and his wife, Argentine actress Luisana Lopilato, are expecting their second baby. Bublé made the announcement Tuesday via a video posted to his social media accounts. The clip shows their almost-2-year-old son Noah, touching his mother’s stomach while Bublé, holding the camera, asks: “Who’s that in there?” Noah, who was hospitalized last month after getting accidentally burned with scalding water, replies: “Baby.”

Aretha Franklin’s spokesman said the Queen of Soul was grateful and exclaimed “Hallelujah!” after the state of Illinois helped out when her tour bus broke down on the way to Chicago and left her stranded along a highway. Transmission problems stopped the bus around 1:20 a.m. Monday a few miles from downtown on Interstate 290. Officers drove Franklin and her entourage to their hotel.
More celebs showed up to partake in Paris Fashion Week. Tuesday it was all about Chanel’s show, where guests were led to their seats in a giant, recreated casino at the French capital’s Grand Palais. But the real gasps came when Still Alice costars Kristen Stewart and Julianne Moore took a seat around a poker table on the catwalk. Fellow gamblers placing bets included singers Rita Ora and Vanessa Paradis and model Lara Stone.
